(1) The Last Supper (2) The foot-washing fo the apostles (3) 겟세마네 동산 (4) The arrest of Jesus.

The Music of New Creation: Holy Week Eucharist Reflections from N.T. Wright - N.T. Wright Online

King’s College, Cambridge: Maundy Thursday, April 14 2022 Thoughts inspired by Exodus 12:1-4 and John 13.1-17, 31b-35 Three weeks ago a short clip […]

The footwashing scene means what it means within this larger story. It is a small but cosmically significant piece of new-creational performance art, launching a new people marked out by humble, self-giving love. Jesus’ symbolic actions were small but powerful seeds, designed to grow and change the world. The very existence of this strange new family constitutes the standing rebuke, from creation’s true God, to the tyrants and bullies of the world.
...

Jesus’ followers are therefore given this mandate, to be performance artists of new creation in a world caught between the ruin of the old and the birth of the new. ‘Love one another, as I have loved you’. That is the slogan: easy to say, massively challenging to do – not least because it is so easily misunderstood. Is Jesus saying that the answer to all our problems is simply a community of kindness?

No, but that’s not a bad start. The footwashing scene brings into unexpected focus the good news that the world’s tyrants and bullies are held to account and overthrown; that a different way to be human has been launched upon the world. The church, empowered by Jesus’ Spirit, must speak the truth to power, the
truth of God’s new creation. As we discover again this evening, the bread and the wine of the Eucharist proclaim powerfully to the wider world that in Jesus’ death and resurrection God himself has sat down defiantly at the keyboard, to play, even amidst the rubble, the unstoppable music of new creation.

Within the gospels’ recounting of that ultimate Passover, one scene stands out with special poignancy and power. John’s gospel displays deft artistry and fathomless theology throughout, but especially in the footwashing scene in chapter 13. In a few lines we glimpse a tableau both intimate and touching and scary and dangerous. Having begun his gospel with the all-creative Word becoming flesh and revealing God’s glory, John begins the shorter second half with an acted parable of the same thing. Jesus removes his outer garments and kneels down to wash the disciples’ feet, summing up all that is to come in this act of divine humility, of loving redemption, of cleansing for service. For John, as indeed throughout the New Testament, Jesus’ vocation to rescue the world from its plight, and in so doing to reveal the divine glory in action, is focused, symbolized, encoded in an action simultaneously dramatic, fraught with cosmic significance, and gentle, tender with human emotion. If you want to understand the great mysteries of Christian theology, of Trinity, Incarnation, and atonement itself, you could do worse than spend time with this scene.
...
The theology of the cross is only ultimately complete when it issues in the footwashing, fruitbearing and world-transforming mission of Jesus’ followers.
...
When Jesus wanted to explain to his followers what his death would mean he didn’t give them a theory, he gave them a meal on the one hand and a dramatic action on the other. The Word became flesh, and it is in flesh – his flesh, and then, worryingly, our flesh – that the truth is revealed. God forgive us that we have answered rationalistic scepticism with rationalistic fideism. The Word – the Logos, the ultimate Reason in Person – became flesh. It is in the flesh that the world was saved; it is in the flesh that the glory was, and is, revealed.

1.  Six Goleman Leadership styles

What kind of a leadership style should you emulate? Find out – get to know the six Goleman leadership styles here.

1. Coercive Leadership Style

Commonly referred to as "directive" or “commanding” leadership, it’s best to use coercive leadership when you need to fix a problem quickly and effectively. For example, dealing with a difficult employee or ‘putting out a fire’ at work.

2. Authoritative Leadership Style

You may know this one as “visionary” leadership. Authoritative leaders give their team a general direction and goal to achieve, but let them reach that goal in whichever way they deem appropriate.

3. Affiliative Leadership Style

An affiliative leader is all about the people. They want to create a positive work environment for their team members and are big on giving praise. The downside, though, is that the team rarely receives actionable advice or correction, leaving team members feeling confused and leaderless.

4. Democratic Leadership Style

Under democratic leadership (also known as “participative” leadership), every team member has a valued voice that management genuinely wants to hear from. These workplaces are typically more flexible and collaborative, but that comes with a price: Longer, more frequent meetings to discuss everyone’s opinions and hash out ideas.

5. Pacesetting Leadership Style

If you’re a pacesetting leader, you walk the walk and talk the talk daily. You know the importance of setting a good example for your team and having high standards for the work they produce.

6. Coaching Leadership Style

Much like its name suggests, coaching leaders focus on the personal development of their team members, rather than just meeting work-related quotas or sales goals. They work one-on-one with their employees to achieve excellence, which works well for employees who are open to improvement.

2.  Leader 와 Manager 의 차이

3. Level 5 Leadership

Who exactly is a Level 5 leader? Collins describes Level 5 leader as Humility + Will = Level 5. They are the nurturing leaders who do not want credit but want success to sustain over a longer period of time, long after they are gone.
Level 5 leaders are modest, shy and fearless and possess the capability to transform an organization from good to great without portraying themselves as wizards with magic wands. They prefer talking about the company and the contribution of other people but rarely about their role or achievements.

Level 5 Leadership - Meaning and Concept

Level 5 Leadership We have always associated leadership with a very visible and popular role which gives you recognition and a larger than life status as a leader however the level 5 leadership proposes quite opposing characteristics of a successful leader
