No longer slaves (노래)

지난 주말, human trafficking 에 대한 책과 영화, 또 최근 터진 사건에 대한 documentary 등을 보면서 성경도 읽고 기도하는 시간을 가졌었다.  다음 에베소서 6:12 말씀이 절실한 시대 -- 물론, 역사 속에 그러지 않았던 때가 없겠지만서두.  

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

 

우연히 마주친 노래. 

No longer slaves - 2015 년에 발표된 노래라고 한다. 저 밑에는 가사. 

하나님의 아들 딸에게는 누구나 이 노래의 가사가 의미있는 것이리라. 

실제로 여러가지 형태의 노예의 삶을 살다가 '해방'된 이들에겐 더더욱 그러할것같다. 

노래 제목이 No longer slaves 인데, 왜 노래 제목에 I am a child of God 라고 포함하지 않았을까?
모두가... 그 모두가 "I am no longer a slave. I am a child of God!" 라고 외치며 노래하는 날이 속히 오길...
